Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Organizational Management, Urban Planning, or closely related field.
• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in municipal government or building/permits administration, including management experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs and administrates the Building Department, including operations, budget, customer service, technology, performance, and organizational development.
• Establishes goals, policies, procedures, service standards, and performance measures aligned with City priorities.
• Develops strategies to improve permitting, plan review, and inspection coordination, with emphasis on transparency and efficiency.
