Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks an Executive Director - Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to lead the BISO function across CVS Health lines of business. You will embed security strategy into business initiatives, translate risk into business terms, and report to senior leaders with KPI-driven insights.

You will guide governance, drive cross-functional initiatives, and coach the BISO team, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement in a complex enterprise security program.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in security or risk management.
• Experience in GRC or enterprise security programs.
• Direct BISO or Head BISO experience is required.
• Ability to translate cybersecurity risk into business terms for executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BISO team and provide strategic guidance across CVS Health lines of business.
• Define KPIs and metrics, delivering executive-level reporting.
• Drive risk management strategy with objective prioritization and execution.
• Oversee large cross-functional projects and governance forums.
• Develop concise communications for senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop BISO team members with clear objectives.
