Job summary

At Bose Corporation, the Chief Product Engineer leads licensing strategy and aligns IP with product roadmaps. You bridge R&D with external commercialization, packaging audio tech into reusable IP blocks for licensees and ODMs.

You will oversee DSP integration, data-package delivery, and developer tooling while guiding a specialized team of engineers toward scalable licensing platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in consumer audio or hearables with embedded software and DSP
• Experience delivering software IP and external licensing
• Deep expertise in ANC, Spatial Audio, and VPU

Responsibilities

• Licensing architecture strategy and IP block design
• DSP platform integration across SoCs and DSPs
• Deliver comprehensive technical data packages and reference designs
• Develop tools and GUIs for licensee calibration of ANC and spatial audio
• Support licensing evaluations with technical deep-dives
• Protect IP and ensure compliance with legal teams
• Mentor a cross-functional engineering team
