Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Michigan for a minimum of two years and have trial experience.
• Some criminal law experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Appear in District and Circuit Court, as well as handle matters in Juvenile Court.
• Represent the People of Michigan in pretrial matters, pleas, trials, sentencing and some appeals.
• Supervise and mentor assistant prosecutors, manage support staff, and maintain day-to-day operations in the absence of the Prosecuting Attorney.
