Avoca Risk seeks a Senior Vice President of Risk & Portfolio Analytics to lead the analytics capability across its MGAs. This leader will own analytics strategy, governance, and delivery of pricing insights, portfolio analytics, and KPI reporting.

The role combines strategic advisory with hands-on leadership, coordinating with underwriting, finance, technology, and capital stakeholders to enable growth and robust risk analytics.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience within insurance, reinsurance, MGA/MGU, or brokerage environments.
• Actuarial foundation with ACAS, FCAS, or equivalent progress preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO-based pricing methodologies and P&C structures; RMS or catastrophe modeling experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to build and develop teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead analytics across enterprise MGAs and own analytics strategy, governance, and roadmap.
• Direct deep-dive portfolio analyses, actuarial evaluations, and pricing assessments.
• Oversee catastrophe modeling workflows and exposure analytics using RMS.
• Design and maintain analytics processes, reporting structures and evaluation frameworks.
• Partner with underwriting, finance, technology, and capital stakeholders.
• Deliver management reporting and ad hoc analytics for decision support.
