Job summary

Central Garden & Pet Company seeks a Senior Vice President of Supply Chain to lead the company’s end-to-end supply chain strategy, including planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, distribution, customer fulfillment, and supplier partnerships. The role improves service levels, efficiency, and working capital while aligning with growth objectives.

Based out of Neptune City, NJ, 5x a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management is required.
• 15+ years CPg supply chain experience; 10+ years in leadership roles (manufacturing).
• Strong integrated supply chain and IBP expertise; understanding pet supply chain complexity.

Responsibilities

• Direct procurement strategies for materials and packaging to optimize cost and supply continuity.
• Lead demand planning and inventory strategies to optimize working capital and minimize backorders.
