Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Chief Architect to lead the architectural vision for the SVD portfolio in EAD. You will guide technology direction, ensure scalable solutions, and transform complex requirements into sustainable blueprints.

Locally based with no remote work; candidates should be in US, Norway, or Germany per location policy. Lead cross-functional teams and shape the digital architecture across products.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, CS, or related field.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of GDPR, SOC2, HIPAA cybersecurity frameworks.
• Expertise in microservices, APIs, and system modernization.
• 10+ years of programming, database management, and software architecture.
• Strong analytical and communication skills bridging tech and business.
• A proactive leader who can inspire cross-functional teams.
• Negotiation, influencing skills, and strategic thinking.
• Coaching and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-product technology strategies to deliver customer value and business goals.
• Oversee architectural governance and address legal considerations.
• Support product managers with business cases and implementation strategies.
