Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks an experienced leader to oversee anesthesia services, providing direct supervision of CRNAs, CAAs, and staff. In collaboration with the Director, you will guide hiring, promotions, and corrective actions to maintain clinical excellence.

You will also drive departmental processes, budgeting, staffing plans, and program development, balancing operational needs with policy compliance and patient safety across multiple care settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia is required with at least five years of clinical practice.
• Demonstrated leadership engagement within the department, such as participation in leadership development programs.
• Prior leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CRNAs, CAAs, or related staff and subordinate supervisors.
• Exercise hiring, promotion, and corrective action authority with Directors.
• Develop budgets and staffing plans, ensuring fiscal accountability and quality anesthesia practice.
• Lead departmental initiatives, program development, and interprofessional collaboration to improve outcomes.
