Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Completion of an accredited course in anesthesia training.
• 1 year of experience as a certified nurse anesthetist (CRNA).

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief CRNA and support department goals.
• Facilitate day-to-day activities of the anesthesia department.
• Develop and implement staffing plans with Chief CRNA approval.
• Support clinical education and staff development.
• Oversee scheduling for Anesthesia Techs and participate in recruitment.
• Coach staff and mentor students; promote ethical practice.
• Assist with budgeting within Chief CRNA guidance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, and health care team; respond to urgent needs.
• Maintain attendance records and coordinate educational activities.
• Collaborate to obtain Class A credits for educational meetings.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing; accredited anesthesia training
