Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Seven years of fundraising leadership experience.
• Proven record of major gifts and campaign planning.
• Strong organizational, supervisory and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to lead on and off campus; collaborate with boards and leadership.
• Experience working with a board of trustees or foundation board.

Responsibilities

• Advance the university's mission with chancellor and senior leadership.
• Lead fundraising strategy, including annual giving, major gifts and capital campaigns.
• Oversee donor relations, stewardship and prospect management.
• Hire, train and guide the advancement team toward accountable outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty, deans and partners to align fundraising with strategic plans.
• Provide executive leadership to UNCP Foundation and related boards.
