Job summary

Sheridan College, located in Sheridan, Wyoming, seeks a Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA) to serve as Chief Academic Officer. The VPAA will provide strategic leadership for academic programs, instructional support, and accreditation compliance, while championing teaching excellence and student outcomes across all academic offerings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Five years of progressively responsible leadership/administrative/supervisory experience managing instructional programs in higher education.
• At least two years of full-time teaching experience.
• Budget development, monitoring, and administration experience.
• Experience developing, managing, and evaluating employees.
• Experience with teaching and learning facilitation and championing teaching excellence.
• Experience using data and qualitative evidence to inform decision-making and improve programs.
• Ability to collaborate across units to align scheduling, program development, and student success strategies.
