Job summary

Buffalo State University in Buffalo, NY seeks a visionary Vice President for Student Affairs to lead a comprehensive student services division and collaborate with the new President to advance enrollment, retention, and student success.

The VPSA will oversee the Dean of Students, Student Health and Well-Being, Student Leadership and Engagement, and Intercollegiate Athletics, guiding strategy and day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Crisis management: seasoned in emergency response and high-stakes student situations.
• Compliance fluency: familiar with Title IX, FERPA, Clery, ADA, and student conduct practices.
• Resource management: capability to manage division budgets with contracted partners.
• Collaborative style: effective in shared governance and working with faculty, staff, and families.
• Working with students: experience engaging student government and advocacy groups.
