Job summary

Hometown Food Company in Chicago, IL is seeking a Finance Analyst to support trade promotion and pricing activities for the sales team. This role collaborates with the Director of Revenue Management & Sales Planning to assist with RGM strategies and to work closely with Sales for execution.

The ideal candidate will develop financial models, ensure ERP accuracy for TPM expenditures, and help forecast the upcoming fiscal year while coordinating with finance for accruals and pricing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Advanced analytical/technical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with external broker teams.
• Excellent time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Capture trade spend funds and projected shipments in ERP for invoice accuracy via TPM tool.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial models for annual budget and forecasting.
• Coordinate with finance for accruals for promotions.
• Manage external broker analysts and train on systems and TPM processes.
• Track KPI’s for deduction processing and promotion entry efficiency.
• Support Deduction Management and A/P processes for Sales.
• Maintain and communicate customer price lists with Sales and Marketing.
• Analyze Trade and Pricing strategies to optimize plans for customers and consumers.
• Assist with special projects and support Customer Service with trade pricing maintenance.
