Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in customs brokerage or import operations for a freight forwarder or customs brokerage.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. import regulations and HTS classification.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit customs entries for air, ocean, and ground shipments.
• Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and ensure duty/tax compliance.
• Track shipments to ensure timely release and delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams, carriers, and government agencies.
• Maintain accurate records in line with CBP audit standards.
• Stay current on customs regulations and compliance changes.
