Job summary

Traffic Tech Inc. is seeking an Entry Writer to support the Customs Department in the Chicago office. You will classify goods, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare documentation for customs clearance.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to streamline operations, manage the clearance process for all cargo types, and generate reports for audits. Weekend work is required for this full-time, in-office role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage or similar role.
• Expertise in tariff classification and HS code application.
• Understanding of customs regulations and procedures, including duty drawback.
• Experience with CargoWise or similar customs software is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Classify goods using tariff codes and ensure regulatory compliance.
