Job summary

A Place At Home, LLC is seeking caregivers in Essex County and surrounding areas to provide in-home support. Responsibilities include helping with bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, mobility support, light housekeeping, and companionship to maintain independence and dignity at home.

Qualifications

• NJ Home Health Aide Certification (current and in good standing)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Background check and drug test required
• Experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
• Prepare meals according to the client’s dietary restrictions and assist with eating if needed
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare providers
• Help clients with mobility needs such as walking assistance and bed transfer
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean environment
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and monitor and communicate any changes in client condition
• Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and support for the client

Location: Essex County and Surrounding Areas

Job Type: Part Time and Full Time Roles

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
