Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional manner.
• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and information.
• Pull and fill orders from stock; notify when out-of-stock items.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources as needed.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts and replenish inventory daily.
• Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
• Receive payment from retail customers; ensure signed invoices.

Compensation: Hourly between California Minimum Wage to $25.00 based on experience.Wittmeier Auto Center is one of the finest automobile dealerships in Northern California. If you're disciplined, bright, hard-working and have an absolute passion for excellence, we may have a place for you.We are looking for a professional and outgoing Parts Counter Associate to join us in supporting our dealership staff and customers while assisting us in building and representing the brand.Job ResponsibilitiesAssists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.Pulls and fills orders from stock.Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.Notifies all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received.Follows up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily.Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.Receives payment from retail customers.Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer and that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.QualificationsExcellent communication and customer service skills, and able to maintain a professional image and demeanorAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentStrong Computer & Phone Skills (Internet, MS Outlook)Bi-lingual is always a plus!Positive Attitude is a must!Parts experienced preferred!Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
