Celebration Chevrolet in Aurora, CO is seeking an Automotive Parts Associate to join our busy parts department. You will help customers identify and order parts, assist technicians, and ensure accurate parts lookup and timely delivery while maintaining organized inventory.

The ideal candidate brings a customer-focused mindset, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn our catalogs and dealership systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts is a plus.
• Familiarity with dealership systems and parts catalogs helpful.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and ordering parts and accessories.
• Support service team by locating, ordering, and providing parts for repairs.
• Look up parts using catalogs and vehicle info for fitment.
• Process quotes, invoices, and parts orders in the dealership system.
• Receive and stock inventory and report discrepancies.
• Track special orders and communicate updates to customers.
• Help with inventory counts and identify misplacements.
• Handle returns per department procedures.
• Keep counters, shelves, and storage tidy and safe.
• Collaborate with Parts Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

Our parts department helps keep the entire dealership moving. From supporting technicians to helping customers find the right part, your work will directly affect the quality and speed of service we provide.

What You’ll Do

• Assist customers: Help retail and wholesale customers identify and order the correct parts and accessories.
• Support our service team: Work with technicians and service advisors to locate, order, and provide parts for vehicle repairs.
• Look up parts accurately: Use electronic parts catalogs and vehicle information to verify fitment and availability.
• Process transactions: Prepare quotes, invoices, and parts orders accurately using the dealership management system.
• Receive and stock inventory: Check incoming shipments, report discrepancies, and place parts in their assigned locations.
• Track special orders: Monitor orders and backorders, communicate updates, and notify the appropriate customer or team member when parts arrive.
• Assist with inventory control: Participate in inventory counts and help identify misplaced, damaged, or incorrect stock.
• Handle returns: Assist with customer and manufacturer returns according to department procedures.
• Keep the department organized: Maintain clean counters, shelves, and storage areas while following safe handling practices.
• Work as a team: Help coworkers and communicate with the Parts Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organization, and dependable follow-through.
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn parts catalogs and dealership systems.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and stay professional during busy periods.
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to take direction.
• Ability to handle the physical duties of receiving, stocking, and moving automotive parts, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
• Previous automotive parts or dealership experience is a plus.
• GM parts experience is a plus.
• Tekion experience is a plus.
