Job summary

AutoNation in the United States is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards, building trust and loyalty with customers.

The role requires 3-5 years of technician experience, ASE and/or OEM certification, a high school diploma, and a valid in-state driver’s license. You will communicate with Parts and Service Advisors, conduct inspections, document work, and pursue growth across service roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE and/or OEM certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of automotive technician experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order and standards.
• Communicate with Parts and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make safety/reliability recommendations.
• Document work performed on the repair order.
• Maintain essential tools and stay updated with factory bulletins and training.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
