Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Advanced Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will communicate with parts and service staff, diagnose issues, conduct multi-point inspections, and document all work.

The role requires 2+ years as a technician, a valid driver’s license, and high school diploma or equivalent. We offer competitive pay, paid OEM certification training, and opportunities to advance into Service, Sales, and Management tracks

Qualifications

• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs).

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make recommendations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Document work performed on each vehicle and maintain tool inventory.
