Job summary

Chestnut Apartments in Fayetteville is seeking a reliable Full-Time Maintenance Technician to support the Community Director and Maintenance Director. You will handle resident repair requests and preventative maintenance, with the advantage of living on-site to save time and commuting costs.

The role requires performing a range of maintenance tasks, assisting with general repairs, inspections, and after-hours responses.

Qualifications

• Experience across maintenance disciplines and property upkeep.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to resident satisfaction and service quality.
• Prior property maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC or CPO certification is a plus.
• Background check and drug screening required; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and coordinate repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs on units and common areas.
• Paint, drywall repair, lighting fixes, and basic carpentry tasks.
• Keep apartment units and amenities clean and functional.
• Conduct routine property inspections and safety checks.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed; participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.

We are seeking a reliable Full-Time Maintenance Technician for our beautiful apartment community, Chestnut Apartments.

In this role, you will assist the Community Director and Maintenance Director in responding to resident repair requests and performing preventative maintenance throughout the property. This position includes the benefit of living on-site, saving time and commuting costs each day.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs
• Performing general maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing drywall, fixing lighting, and basic carpentry
• Clean and maintain apartment units and community amenities
• Conduct routine property inspections
• Move furniture and equipment as needed
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
• Work weekends, evenings, holidays, and on-call as scheduled
