Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Plan and implement quality programs for youth.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Satisfactory criminal history background check and drug screen.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Chesterton - Youth Development Professional After school homework helpThe Youth Development Professional After school homework help will take on the role of Indiana Kids Coordinator. The Indiana Kids Coordinator is responsible for planning, administering and supervising the Indiana Kids grant program which provides participating Club members tutoring, homework help and career exploration. Incumbent will provide leadership and mentoring to Club members as well as support, resources, guidance and tutoring services to help them succeed in school and participate in career exploration.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Develop, implement and supervise purposeful and engaging programs and activities to achieve specific goals and outcome measurements. Programs and activities include but not limited to:a. Planning, administering and supervising the Indiana Kids grant programb. Provide participating Club members tutoring, homework help and career exploration opportunitiesc.
