Chess Wizards is seeking enthusiastic instructors to join our after-school enrichment program in Westmont, IL. Teach chess to elementary students using our structured curriculum, keep classes engaging, and travel to local school sites for each session.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or related roles.
• Ability to lead interactive, age-appropriate chess sessions independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Teach chess fundamentals using our curriculum and promote good sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively, positive classroom and keep students engaged.
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Follow school safety protocols during arrival, dismissal, and activities.
• Travel to various local school sites for each session.
• Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to engage students.
