Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Chesapeake, VA. This role offers hospital, clinic, or rehab settings with a telework-supported travel experience and a supportive clinical team.

Start date is 10/19/2026 with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts. Travel PT licenses, BLS, and strong communication skills are required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine rehabilitation plans based on assessment.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs to meet patient goals.
• Implement PT treatments and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
