Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Chesapeake, VA. The role offers 40 hours per week with dayshift (8 hours) and start date 10/05/2026.

As part of our therapy team, you’ll provide evidence-based treatment in hospital/clinic settings and enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Travel therapists collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining safety standards and documentation

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred)
• New grads welcome to apply
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management
