Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Chesapeake, VA, delivering 40 hours per week with 8-hour days. Immediate start anticipated for qualified candidates who meet licensing and BLS requirements.

The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute plans of care in an acute care setting, supervise PTAs and support staff, bill per guidelines, and maintain timely documentation while coordinating with physicians and facility teams.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• 1 year of experience preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• Travel PT role with 40 hours per week in acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and create a plan of care for patient populations.
• Supervise PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the facility guidelines and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based care.
