Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is hiring a Merchandise Handler for our Pick & Pack Department in Moreno Valley, CA. The role involves picking orders from multi-level racks using cherry picker, counterbalance, and reach truck, and staging shipments for loading.

The position requires 1–3 years of related experience, fluent English, and a strong customer-service mindset. The job is hourly with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• One to three years of recent work experience.
• One to three years operating order picker/cherry picker, counterbalance, and reach truck.
• Fluent English communication.
• Self-starter with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick product from multi-level racks and stage for shipping using cherry picker, counterbalance and reach truck.
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Transport product to and from designated areas as directed.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, label pallets accurately and stage for shipping as scheduled.
• Handle merchandise for picking and put away, breaks down and consolidates pallets for put away or picking.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and safety procedures.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
• Maintain clean, orderly warehouse and loading areas.
• Participate in training and learning sessions to increase knowledge of functions and processes within the Warehouse.
• Follow established Safety procedures in all aspects of work assignments and ensure safety for visitors at locations.
