Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operations team member in Stafford, TX. The position offers a FLEX SCHEDULE with an 8:00am–4:30pm start on Monday and the remainder of the week can be 8–29 hours, chosen based on available shifts.

You will receive shift notifications on your phone and decide your days off. Responsibilities include fulfilling orders, performing quality checks, packing, and inventory control, with cross-training and equipment certification as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Cherry Picker experience required.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Ability to follow direction and adapt to priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with computers or point of sale systems is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English to read and write documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality checks, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider).

FLEX SCHEDULE: Monday 8:00am- 4:30pm or until finish

Remainder of the week work as many or as few hours as you prefer. You choose based on available shifts. 8-29hrs weekly.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
