Job summary

Volt is hiring a Cherry Picker / Forklift Operator in Bernville, PA for a full-time, long-term assignment. You will safely operate a cherry picker, pick orders with RF scanners, and manage material movement while maintaining clean, organized areas and adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has prior cherry picker experience, forklift certification preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Previous cherry picker/order picker forklift experience required.
• Current forklift certification preferred; site certification may be provided.
• Ability to work safely and comfortably at elevated heights.
• Ability to read labels, follow written instructions, and perform basic counting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cherry picker/order picker forklift to select and move inventory.
• Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets, RF scanners, or warehouse systems.
• Load, unload, stage, replenish, and put away materials in assigned locations.
• Work at elevated heights while following all fall-protection and safety procedures.
• Inspect equipment before use and report damage, defects, or safety concerns promptly.
• Verify product numbers, quantities, and locations to prevent shipping errors.
• Maintain organized aisles, racks, staging areas, and workspaces.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards.
• Follow company policies, OSHA guidelines, and site-specific safety requirements.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
