Qualifications

• PTCB certification or registration as Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare, preferably clinical setting as Pharmacy Technician.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to educational and research meetings and training sessions.
• Valid State Driver's License for travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs and solutions under licensed supervision and state regulations.
• Maintain proficiency with the Nucleus dispensing system and ensure accurate dispensing and par-level management.
• Review next-day orders with nursing staff to anticipate special medication needs.
• Order, stock, and track medical supplies and medications to keep inventory levels appropriate.
• Maintain records for compassionate drug programs, clinical trials, and waste disposal; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in training new pharmacy technicians and nursing staff on workflows.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, supervisors, and pharmaceutical representatives to support patient care and operations.
