Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking a professionally certified Pharmacy Technician to safely prepare chemotherapy and other medications in a secure, aseptically controlled environment. You will manage the Nucleus system, maintain records, and ensure accurate dispensing in coordination with physicians and nursing staff.

Responsibilities include aseptic preparation, dose calculations, IV solution preparation, and documentation in the EMR while supporting the clinic's operations and patient care goals.

Qualifications

• Professionally certified pharmacy technician required.
• Chemotherapy admixture experience preferred.
• Aseptic preparation and clean room proficiency are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately.
• Mix chemotherapy and biologics in the BSC using aseptic technique.
• Follow clean room guidelines and prepare IV solutions.
• Verify orders for patient information and physician authorization.
• Calculate dosages and select diluents.
• Maintain Nucleus duties and logs; manage inventory.
• Document patient information in the EMR.
