Job summary

Medix™ is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform routine chemical bath sampling, testing, and adjustments in a manufacturing setting. The role includes titrations, Hull cell analyses, and operating AAS equipment to ensure accurate bath composition.

Responsibilities include calculating chemical additions, performing maintenance on equipment, and maintaining clean lab glassware and inventory. Candidates should have a high school diploma and chemistry coursework or related training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Coursework in chemistry or lab science preferred.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine chemical bath sampling, testing, and adjustments.
• Conduct bath titrations and Hull cell analyses to evaluate bath performance.
• Operate Atomic Absorption spectrophotometer equipment to analyze samples.
• Calculate chemical additions based on analytical findings to maintain bath chemistry.
• Conduct bath filtration, tank cleanouts, and chemical bath replacements.
• Clean, organize, and maintain laboratory glassware and equipment.
• Report out-of-spec results to Chemistry Manager and assist in root-cause analysis.
• Support daily lab operations and related duties as assigned.
