Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Sterling, VA seeks a Chemical Maintenance Technician in a high-production environment. You will obtain chemical samples, perform analyses, adjust baths, and maintain records according to safety and environmental standards.

Training is provided; candidates should have 1–3 years of chemical handling or manufacturing experience and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. English literacy and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to understand standard chemical formulas.
• Experience or ability to operate standard laboratory equipment.
• General computer skills and data entry into electronic systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to obtain materials from shelving and move large chemical barrels.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to follow schedules.
• Reliable attendance.
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English as needed for the job.

Responsibilities

• Obtain chemical samples from the manufacturing floor daily/weekly.
• Analyze chemical samples using laboratory equipment listed in the job description.
• Update and maintain hardcopy and electronic lab records.
• Adjust chemical baths to maintain formulary standards.
• Drain chemical baths and coordinate disposal with waste treatment.
• Obtain chemicals from storage to prepare new baths.
• Follow safety procedures and report accidents or safety concerns.
