Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and teaching credential.
• EL authorization to teach EL or SDAIE.
• Demonstrated plan-and-instruction skills aligned to standards.

Responsibilities

• Planning: Develops ambitious goals to raise student achievement and designs lesson/unit plans aligned to Common Core standards.
• Execution: Engages scholars, challenges them, and adapts methods based on feedback.
• Assessment: Uses data from exit tickets to inform instruction and communicates progress to families.
• Culture: Builds a positive classroom culture focused on high expectations, respect, and equity.
• Leadership: Collaborates with staff, meets deadlines, and participates in school events.
