Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required for applicants.
• California Single Subject teaching credential is required.
• Appropriate EL authorization to teach EL or SDAIE is required.
• Criminal background clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Planning: Develops measurable big goals to increase student achievement; uses Common Core to plan lessons, units, and assessments; differentiates plans for diverse learners.
• Execution: Engages scholars, challenges them during practice, checks for understanding, and adjusts methods.
• Assessment: Gives daily exit tickets and tracks data to inform instruction; communicates progress with families.
• Culture: Creates a positive classroom culture with high expectations, respect and equity; manages behavior and routines to maximize learning.
• Leadership: Demonstrates a whatever-it-takes attitude; collaborates to build campus culture; maintains professionalism and meets deadlines.
