Job summary

Sequlite Genomics is seeking a full-time Chemistry RA/Scientist to join our SF Bay Area–based R&D team. The role collaborates with researchers and engineers to tackle chemistry, molecular biology, and process development challenges.

The candidate will work on surface modification chemistry, analysis, and scale-up support for technology transfer to manufacturing. A PhD or MS in chemistry or related field is required, with hands-on synthesis and characterization experience.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related scientific discipline.
• Expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, surface chemistry, oligonucleotides, and/or bioconjugation.
• Excellent bench skills with hands-on synthesis, purification, and characterization.
• Creativity, initiative, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Explore new chemistry of surface modification.
• Provide day-to-day chemistry support.
• Perform analysis and interpretation of data.
• Develop and optimize processes.
• Support scale-up and technology transfer of process from R&D to manufacturing.
