Contributors will design computational chemistry problems, create Python-based tasks, and verify solutions using standard computational chemistry approaches. Typical hours are 10–20 per week, with compensation up to $76 per hour depending on level and pace.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience: applied, research, or teaching.
• Familiarity with numerical methods in chemistry.
• Familiarity with computational chemistry concepts and methods.
• Strong written English (C1+).

Responsibilities

• Design original computational chemistry problems that simulate real chemistry research workflows.
• Create problems requiring Python programming to solve (using numpy, scipy, chemical libraries).
• Verify solutions using Python with standard computational chemistry approaches.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
