Qualifications

• A degree in Chemistry or related field is required.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation is required.
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research, or teaching roles is expected.
• Familiarity with numerical methods in chemistry needed.
• Knowledge of computational chemistry concepts and methods is expected.
• Strong written English (C1+) is required.

Responsibilities

• Design original computational chemistry problems that simulate real research workflows.
• Create Python-based problems that require programming to solve (numpy, scipy, chemistry libraries).
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and not solvable manually in days/weeks.
• Develop problems requiring non-trivial reasoning in chemistry and molecular modeling.
• Base problems on real research challenges or practical chemistry applications.
• Verify solutions using Python with standard computational chemistry approaches.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide verified correct answers.
