Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support sample weighing, preparation, and analytical sample preparation for active ingredients, intermediates, impurities, and formulation products.
• Assist non-GLP and GLP method validation laboratory experiments as needed.
• Learn, operate, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, LC/GC/MS).
• Process analytical data accurately and document experiments and results in a timely manner to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members and adapt to urgent project needs while maintaining safety compliance.

Position Overview

The Analytical R&D Team within Agriscience company is seeking an Chemistry Lab Technician. This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for a recent science graduate to gain hands-on laboratory experience within a world-leading agricultural science company.

The primary responsibility of the selected candidate is to support scientists in executing day-to-day laboratory tasks, including method development, non-GLP and GLP validations, and sample analyses.

Key Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of ARDT scientists to support sample weighing, preparation, and analytical sample preparation for active ingredients, intermediates, impurities, and formulation products.
• Support non-GLP and GLP method validation laboratory experiments as needed.
• Learn, operate, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, LC/GC/MS).
• Process analytical data accurately and document experiments and results in a timely manner to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Maintain flexibility to accommodate urgent projects, reprioritize tasks, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and cross-functional team members.
• Meet all Corteva EHS&S compliance guidelines and demonstrate a strong, unwavering commitment to safety.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field.
• Experience: Recent graduates with strong academic lab experience or foundational industry experience are preferred; previous hands-on lab experience is required.
• Technical Skills: Strong background or familiarity with analytical chemistry techniques, specifically HPLC, GC, or related instrumentation (LC/GC/MS, Karl Fisher, Titration, etc.).
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
