Actalent is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our Shelbyville, KY laboratory. The role involves working with a fume hood, performing titration tests, and pulling samples from CNC machines to test for quality, under QA standards.

This contract-to-hire position operates on a 2x2x3 schedule from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM in a climate-controlled lab; onsite with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in chemistry.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Mix chemicals for titration tests using a fume hood.
• Pull samples from CNC machines to bring to the lab for quality testing.
• Utilize ERP systems for data management and reporting.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control tasks in the laboratory.
• Assist in filling schedule gaps when other lab technicians are unavailable.
