Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Louisville, KY for a contract opportunity. The role supports QC testing, data entry in SAP, and adherence to HACCP/GMP and Food Safety requirements. You will work on calibration, sample management, and data integrity in a fast-paced lab.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a laboratory setting, experience with viscometer and softening point equipment, and strong attention to detail, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a lab or quality experience
• Ability to post formulas and use SAP
• Self-direct work and processes
• Basic statistics (Control Charting, SPC, Cpk, Cp, Std. Dev)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Ensure QC testing is completed per procedures and results inputted into SAP accurately and within QC time window.
• Report to management when material issues arise (tested out of specification or process limits).
• Participate in the NCMR process by inputting data and supporting investigation activities.
• Participate as a member of HACCP/GMP/Food Safety Team.
