MERIEUX NUTRISCIENCES in Salt Lake City is seeking a Chemistry Technician to perform chemical analyses on food, pharmaceutical or other samples. You will prepare samples, run analyses, and ensure data integrity in a collaborative laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of chemistry to perform testing procedures and obtain accurate results.
• Analytical skills are essential to determine concentration.
• General knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Physical dexterity required for manipulating samples.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analyses such as protein, moisture, fat, and ash.
• Prepare samples and reagents and label for tracking.
• Maintain logs and data in LIMS to ensure traceability.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Train analysts and participate in quality improvement activities.
