Job summary

Ratio Therapeutics is seeking a Chemistry Laboratory Operations Associate to support daily lab operations, instrumentation, and sample management. You will help ensure safe, efficient lab functioning, maintain high-quality records, and assist ongoing experiments in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes managing equipment, consumables, safety compliance, and hands-on support for experiments while contributing to data integrity and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
• 0–5 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Administrative activities: Maintain accurate safety inspections records and chemical inventories, ensure compliance with EH&S regulations.
• Order, maintain, and organize lab supplies and chemicals with proper storage, labeling and handling procedures.
• Laboratory responsibilities: Prepare buffers and reagents for equipment operation and ongoing research.
• Assist with preparation and purification of organic compounds and data collection under supervision.
• Maintain accurate compound inventory, labeling, storage, tracking, and distribution of in-house and collaborator compounds.
• Coordinate and execute shipment of compounds to collaborators following shipping and safety rules.
