Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a contractor to support the Commercial Attribute Sciences team in laboratory operations. The role includes preparing mobile phases, buffers, and reagents, receiving and organizing samples, and maintaining equipment and documentation.

The position requires 0–2 years of lab experience, proficiency with pH meters, balances, and pipettes, and strong attention to detail. Compliance, safety, and cross-functional collaboration are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience in academic, industrial, or regulated environments.
• Experience using laboratory equipment such as pH meters, balances, pipettes, and related instrumentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced lab.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mobile phases, buffers, reagents, and laboratory solutions according to approved procedures.
• Receive, label, log, organize, and distribute samples to support testing activities.
• Operate laboratory equipment including pH meters, balances, and pipettes.
• Perform routine calibration, verification, and maintenance for pH meters, balances, and other equipment.
• Generate complete, accurate documentation using ELN and electronic systems.
• Order, stock, and maintain laboratory chemicals, consumables, and supplies.
• Maintain a safe, organized, inspection-ready workspace through housekeeping.
• Complete training requirements and maintain qualification status for assigned tasks.
• Follow established safety guidelines, procedures, and site practices.
• Maintain training records, documentation, equipment logbooks, and other records.
• Collaborate with scientists, associates, and cross-functional partners to support operations.
• Support additional laboratory operations and analytical testing as priorities evolve.
