Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology or related field.
• Required clinical internship in MT/MLS approved program.
• 5 years experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Two years experience in Chemistry preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 24-hour operation of the chemistry section.
• Process specimens and ensure accurate test results.
• Promote staff development and ongoing competency.
• Maintain communication with pathologists, medical staff, nursing units, the chemistry section, and other lab staff.
