Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) in Laredo, Texas, invites applications for an Instructional Assistant Professor of Chemistry to begin Fall 2027. This is a non-tenure track, renewable 9-month position at the Department of Biology & Chemistry.

The role focuses on teaching introductory and upper level chemistry courses, with service to the department, college and university, on-campus in-person duties, and a commitment to student success and program development.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or related discipline.
• ABD considered but degree conferred before appointment start date.
• Prior teaching experience is strongly encouraged.
