Responsibilities

• Construction of a course syllabus with objectives, content, and grading criteria.
• Preparation of course presentations and instructional materials for lecture, lab, and clinical functions.
• Delivery of instruction at scheduled times with readiness for courses and labs.
• Consultation with and evaluation of students, maintaining clear records on performance and attendance.
• Compliance with departmental/institutional policies and timing for grades and office hours.
• Participation in departmental decisions on texts, assignments, and grading standards.
• Participation in assessments of student learning and college-wide/departmental activities.
• Operation and troubleshooting of instruments as described (UV-vis, IR spectrometers, HPLC, GC) as applicable.
