Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in chemistry required
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry and Master’s degree in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology, or geochemistry; or the equivalent.
• Complete the equivalency form if the minimum qualifications are not exactly met.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum, outlines and schedules.
• Create and maintain an environment that emphasizes learning and critical thinking.
• Evaluate progress of students and grade work.
• Meet with students outside of class.
• Maintain professional conduct and ethics; keep current knowledge in subject matter areas.
• Fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member.
• Maintain accurate academic records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
