Job summary

Prairie View A&M University seeks qualified candidates to join its Department of Chemistry as a non-tenure track adjunct instructor. Qualifications

• PhD or master's in chemistry or related field with teaching emphasis
• Experience teaching at the college level preferred
• Familiarity with online learning management systems

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 7 undergraduate/graduate SCH per semester (less than 50% FTE)
• Maintain student records and post grades
• Post and maintain office hours for a minimum of three hours per week
• Attend orientation or meetings as required by the department
