Job summary

Lansing Community College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry. Courses will be taught on our downtown Lansing campus; in-person teaching is required.

The position is part-time, up to 30 hours per week, with compensation based on the PT Salary Schedule. Requirements include a Master’s in Chemistry with 18 credits (or a related field) and prior teaching experience. Documents for credential evaluation may be requested.

Qualifications

• Master's in Chemistry with 18 graduate credits (or equivalent) is required.
• Teaching experience at the college level is required.
• Documentation for foreign credentials may be required as part of the application.

Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry courses on campus.
• Deliver course content in line with official syllabi.
• Be available for student assistance and advising outside of class.
• Participate in course assessment and department meetings as assigned.
